Mike's Philosophy

  • Attention to detail and design: “I like paying attention to details like the angle of a rack in a wine cellar – how a hand will reach for the bottle, how the wine keeps better when stored that way. The homeowner doesn’t pay anything more, and they may not even notice, but I get satisfaction.”
  • Always puts quality before profit: “After doing this for 30 years, my guys and I can make cabinets that look better and will last longer than pre-fabricated units, and I would rather install something that gives me pride. I’ve even redone what other contractors have done just to get the job right.”
  • Strives for 100% customer satisfaction: “I take my customers on a trim walk, where I make sure I hear what they want. When I give a start date, I get to work to finish the project without delays or inconvenience. Then when I’m through, I make sure the site is spotless. In other words, I treat the homeowner as I’d like to be treated.”
